the project

An Island Paradise, Digitized.

Satoshi Global Village is an extraordinary 108-acre private island enclave on Rum Cay in the pristine southern Bahamas — offering luxe suites, saltwater lagoon villas, oceanfront townhouses, sky bungalows, a world-class wellness center, a sail bar, and private air access.
The client needed to transport prospective buyers and investors directly into the heart of the island — before a single unit was built. SPINE was brought in to build the digital world.

The Island Master Plan

108 acres of pristine Bahamian coastline planned across six distinct zones — from a beachfront sail bar and saltwater lagoon villas to private estates, oceanfront townhomes, and a full-service hotel and wellness center.
the challenge

Selling a Vision Before Ground Was Broken

No physical sales center. No completed structures. No traditional photography. Only a masterplan, architectural drawings, and the profound natural beauty of a remote Bahamian island.
SPINE’s challenge: build a photorealistic digital world accurate enough to close sales, secure financing, and serve as a permanent marketing platform.
  • 01Full photorealistic 3D environment across all six development zones
  • 02360° interactive tour with real-time navigation island-wide
  • 03Cross-platform: desktop web, mobile, and VR headset
  • 04Animated ocean water dynamics and environmental lighting

How SPINE Builds Worlds

Every SPINE project follows the same rigorous three-stage production pipeline — refined over two decades to ensure client alignment at every step before a single detail render is produced. Nothing surprises. Everything is approved.

01

STAGE ONE
Geometry & Camera Angle
A 3D model is created from submitted files. The Level 01 rendering is a schematic image produced to verify the accuracy of the 3D geometry and to select the camera angles that best showcase the project.
  • 01CAD files: site plans, floor plans, roof plans, ceiling plans & elevations
  • 02Detail drawings, reference images or existing 3D files
  • 03Background and/or site photos
  • 04Description of desired camera angle
LEVEL 01
LEVEL 02

02

STAGE TWO
Materials & Lighting
Once camera angles are approved, Level 02 production begins. All materials and lighting conditions are applied. Comments at this stage focus on material accuracy, colors, textures, and proper lighting conditions.
  • 01All materials, colors and textures must be submitted
  • 02Geometry and camera angle must be fully approved
  • 03Lighting time of day selected: dusk, day, or night
  • 04All background or context images submitted

03

STAGE THREE
Post Production Enhancement
The final and most rewarding stage. A complete representation of all materials, colors, textures and lighting is achieved. Post-production includes landscaping, entourage, lighting enhancements, color corrections, and cosmetic refinements.
  • 01Approval on Level 02 including geometry and lighting
  • 02Any additional accessories, cars, and entourage submitted
  • 03Additional landscaping not included in CAD plans
  • 04Comments typically limited at this stage — nearly complete

FINAL DELIVERY
Production-Ready Deliverables
Once the project is formally awarded, the assigned account manager schedules a kick-off meeting. All changes, updates, and progress samples are tracked in real time — keeping every stakeholder aligned throughout production.
  • 01High-resolution stills at final quality for print and digital
  • 02360° interactive tour for web, mobile, and VR
  • 03Animated sequences and VR walkthrough recordings
  • 04All project updates tracked through Basecamp

OUR PROCESS

It is vital for the success of your project that our team accurately understands your objectives, comments, and ideas. For this reason the SPINE team have molded and refined our process over the years into 3 simple phases of production

LEVEL 01

Geometry and Camera Angle – A 3D model will be created once the files mentioned below are submitted. A level 01 rendering is a simple schematic image produced only for the purpose of reviewing the accuracy of the 3D geometry of the building, space or object according to the information we were provided as well as selecting the camera angles which you feel best showcase your project.

Preferred files to produce level 1:
CAD Files Site plans, Floor plans, Roof plans, Reflective ceiling plans, Elevations.
Any other detail drawings, images or 3D files
Background and/or site photos.
Description of camera angle.

LEVEL 02

Materials and Lighting – After the camera angles are chosen and approved, the production of a level 2 rendering is started. During this level of production materials and lighting conditions will be applied. When reviewing a level 2 sample your comments should be focused on the accuracy of the materials, colors, textures, and proper lighting conditions. By this stage all geometric discrepancies should have already been addressed. This level typically requires the most attention and time out of all the levels of the rendering process in order to produce the foundation of a high quality, photorealistic rendering. Your patience and cooperation will be imperative and appreciated.

Prerequisites for level 2:
All materials, colors and textures should have been submitted by this stage.
Geometry and camera angle should already be approved. Type of lighting dusk, day, night should have been selected.
All background or context images need to have been submitted

LEVEL 03

Post Production Enhancements This is the final and most rewarding stage of the rendering process. Once a level 3 rendering has been reached we should have achieved an adequate representation of all materials, colors, textures and lighting conditions. At this stage all post-productions work will begin. Post-production work includes but are not limited to the addition of landscaping, people, accessories and after effects such as lighting enhancements, color corrections and cosmetic alterations. After a level 3 rendering is submitted, the comments are typically limited any of the enhancements added during this phase of production.
After all of this work is completed an image will be delivered at final high resolution.

Prerequisites for level 3:
Approval on level 2 sample, including geometry and lighting approval Submission of any additional accessories, cars and entourage Additional comments on landscaping not included in CAD plans or previously mentioned
